Santalum Lanceolatum is an Australian Sandalwood species derived from old growth native bush land and open forests in Northern Queensland. Our harvests are well-aged mature trees, ranging between 25 and 90 years old. Being 100% pure organic and highly aromatic, this species is suitable for oil extraction and natural steam distillation.

Although this Australian species has been widely used in the market place for various purposes, it’s utilisation as a pharmaceutical grade oil, natural fixative and flavour enhancer is relatively new. The oil has it’s own unique signature scent, consisting of a delicate light gold colour. It has a soft wood note with a distinct sweet finish and a pleasing top note fragrance. The Lanceolatum oil blends well with other species of Sandalwood oil. This sandalwood species has recently gained popularity within the essential oil and perfume industry due to the increasing shortage of the most commonly used Indian species Santalum Album. The endangerment and near extinction of Album has given Lanceolatum an opening into the perfumery marketplace.
Australia is renown for its purity, greeness and cleanliness. Our harvesting operations and conditions are 100% sustainable and ecologically sound. Trees with roots are fully extracted from the ground to encourage regeneration for the future.
