COMPANY HISTORY

Holly-Wood Enterprises Group (HWE) is a private Australian company with over 20 years experience and knowledge in the precious and scented wood log export industry. HWE and it’s parent company initially began exporting logs of various native species including Sandalwood, Buddha wood, Quandong, Gutta percha and Black ebony. International countries of export include Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The logs are largely processed overseas and used for oil extraction in high end perfumery, medicinal product, Buddhism incense, Hinduism ritual, religious carving, cosmetics, aromatherapy, food flavouring and chewing tobacco. Due to the current high demand for Sandalwood globally, the company is primarily exporting the Australian Sandalwood species Santalum Lanceolatum from Northern Queensland.

HWE was awarded the Northern Australia Sandalwood contract, by the Queensland Government Department of Forestry in 2017. This contract has given the Company a minimum 2,500 tonne Sandalwood harvest of logs, roots and butts which is primarily available for oil extraction and international export.
